The Contemporary Art Center is a premiere Cincinnati landmark that provides its visitors with an experience unlike any other. Their mission is to provide a space for the public to engage with artists, scholars, and each other around contemporary issues. As a dynamic venue for contemporary art, the need arose for a new brand image in order to remain modern and relevant.
The new brand design is based on a stronger, bolder look. The mark’s emphasis is on the strong “C” for contemporary that holds its weight when placed in layout form or locked with other logos. The positive and negative shapes create a more versatile image that lends itself to both print and kinetic executions. The collateral created includes business cards, letterheads, envelopes, and a children’s educational art piece.
